Our Blog

I wish to throw my hat in the ring as a candidate for one of the ‘staff’ positions.

I am a long time supporter and listener of KPFT. I have produced two Open Journal programs. I have volunteered on a regular basis for the past 8 years, doing phone work, attending and helping at events, doing the recycling, doing some grounds work, and generally helping out.

I have recently been helping to perform Board Operations for ‘The Monitor,’ ‘Progressive Forum’ and ‘Coming to America’ as well.

I want to see KPFT grow and flourish and am willing to help in that regard. One of the things I do to that end now is provide incarcerated people I write to with KPFT Program Guides and information about events. I have also distributed Program Guides at local Libraries.
