Thank you for those who came in on Monday to greet me at the station. I hope that putting a face to a name helped ease concerns about this process.
There are a few days left in the nomination period. There will be 3 official signing parties to allow candidates to fill there petition signatures.
Friday 7/10 from 12pm to 2pm
Saturday 7/11 from 9am to 11am
Tuesday 7/14 from 6pm to 9pm (last day of nomination period)
There are other parties being hosted by non-Election staff but those are NOT official events. Those events are being hosted by individual groups. The 7/10, 7/11 & 7/14 parties are to allow equal access to listeners and staff not affiliated with any groups. An official PSA which I recorded has gone live.
If you still need a packet you can pick one up from me in-person or you can register here: http://elections.pacifica.org/wordpress/candidate-central/candidate-registration/ the form will send you an email which allows you to download the packets.
