As an investigative journalist with extensive experience covering U.S. domestic and foreign policy, former NYC Urban Planner and Public Administrator (MPA), singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist, and current WBAI Vice-Chair, I bring deep governance expertise, creative energy, media savvy, and a commitment to independent journalism and the arts to WBAI.
I co-host Uncontrolled Opposition (UN-OPS) on WBAI with Professor Jeremy Kuzmarov on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM ET, write for CovertAction Magazine and LA Progressive, and contributed to the anthology Sanctions – A Wrecking Ball in a Global Economy.
As frontwoman and songwriter of the band Ringmaster, I released the album Ringmaster in Camouflage (2001), blending rock with political edge—often compared vocally to Chrissie Hynde, Stevie Nicks, and Patti Smith. As Vice-Chair, I’ve supported transparency and defended WBAI’s progressive mission.
My background in public administration, urban planning, community organizing, music, and environmental activism equips me to increase listener engagement, expand creative programming, and achieve strategic growth.
My vision is a revitalized WBAI: a sustainable, editorially independent platform that amplifies marginalized voices, delivers bold investigative reporting, celebrates arts and music, builds stronger community partnerships, and remains a vital progressive force in New York.
Together, we can secure WBAI’s future. I humbly ask for your support.
