What experience, connections, skills or traits would you bring to the local station board to advance the station's mission? |

As a 45 year veteran broadcaster, content expert, curator and manager of radio stations that include XM Satellite Radio, and stations in Washington, DC New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Cincinnati and other markets, I believe I could bring a unique perspective to the board |

What do you appreciate and value in the station's current operations? |
|
I have enjoyed listening to and viewing the innovative Live At 5 series which highlights artists from the area. I have also enjoyed the long form talk programming and the very progressive Pacifica point of view which can't be heard on any other station in the city or area. |

What would you like to see improved or changed in the station's current operations? |

I don't know enough about the stations current operations to comment at this time. |

Describe what you anticipate would be your top three priorities or areas of focus if you were elected to the local station board. |
|
I would listen and make recommendations based on the needs of the station, staff and listeners. |

Sustainability is an important part of any nonprofit operation. What are your thoughts on how the board can help to improve the station's financial footing? |

I'm not sure what the stations revenue and expense structure is, but I'd be glad to offer my input once I have more information. |

Is there anything else you would like prospective voters to know? |
|
WPFW is a heritage radio station that is an important part of the community. I would like to see it have more of an overall digital and marketing footprint so that more people could enjoy it's unique programming. More listeners mean more revenue/sponsorships in my mind.
