Staff Candidate for the WPFW Local Station Board
Statement
In 2017 I started volunteering at WPFW through the Sophie’s Parlor Women’s Collective to complete the field work requirement to for my Communications degree. I stayed because of the value the WPFW provides to listeners.
I would be honored to serve on the Board working towards fulfilling the mission. In my opinion, the educational purpose, sense of community, outlet for creativity, the full distribution of public information and the other resources provided by the station are worth fighting for.
If you elect me as a Board member, you can count on me to be diligent and resourceful as I serve. I will use my skills to assist with governing and achieving station goals with excellence and integrity.
