I began as a listener-supporter of KPFT in 1985 and remember receiving as my thank-you gift a black and white KPFT sweatshirt. It doesn't fit me anymore but I still have it! In 2000, I was invited by another volunteer progammer to join his on-air team and have been a volunteer programmer since that time. We work to create programming that supports the Pacifica vision and broadcast news and events that reflect our diverse community. I volunteer my time on the LBS Board as well as being a programmer because I believe in the values and vision of the Pacifica Foundation.
