I am co-host with Craig "Pasta" Jardula of the show "left on left" that runs on WBAI and am running to try and help the station navigate the current difficult waters and to support new programming that will appeal to younger listeners and make WBAI relevant in the 21st century. One thing I want to support is the kind of political programming where the hosts are not staid in their thinking or just follow "the herd." that they are willing to challenge conventional paradigms and boldly expose the truth. Also I think the station should get back to its roots in doing more to cover and support community organizers and grass roots social movements. additionally, I would support initiatives to get WBAI shows broadcast more on the internet and better promotion reaching younger audiences through twitter and tik tok and other online mediums.
