Pacifica Radio/KPFT brings to mind a maverick mind set, independence and fresh open discussions.
As a board member of several organizations, I am driven by my commitment to make a difference, i.e., the Gandhi, "Be the change you want to see in the world", including a technical college board, a radio station for the blind, homeowners association boards, environmental board, the arts board and political organization board.
In addition to board level strategic work, I'm willing to get dirty and do the grunt work, if needed, for marketing, promoting, recruiting volunteers, fundraising, and/or networking as a board member..
I would like to bring my skills, experience and fresh prospective to help Pacifica/KPFT to grow and continue to make a difference in Houston.
