I’m Ron Stubbers, serving as current KPFT LSB Chair and running for re-election. Most
important to me are:
Working with station management to move the station forward and ensure efforts
are responsive to the station’s diverse listener and community needs.
Operating the LSB and its meetings so everyone can be heard, and we make
effective use of people’s time.
Focusing the board and its members’ energies toward our bylaw-dictated mission
of + increasing membership, + raising funds, and + aligning actions with
Pacifica’s mission.
Organizing the board including new positions to help ensure KPFT and Pacifica
are on a solid financial footing to effectively use our people and funds and carry
out our mission.
My experience with the KPFT LSB and station management, as well as corporate
boards and business management in a range of businesses are what I believe is
needed in the KPFT LSB Chair position.
The upcoming term will offer tremendous opportunity for communication and
engagement. We need to adapt to the new board structure and ensure everyone is
working towards a common goal.
