Hello 2026 Candidates! Here are several campaign opportunities to help boost your candidacy:
2026 Candidate Profile: Your picture and statements are already posted on the Pacifica Foundation’s election website. The NES is working with Election Buddy to determine whether a hyperlink can be added to the official ballot. This hyperlink, when clicked, will direct all voters to your profile on the candidate’s election website.
Starting August 14th, no less than three times during the election period, the NES will do an email blast to the local station’s Listeners, Staff and Volunteers, with candidates’ names and positions they are running for. This email will also include a hyperlink; when clicked, it will take you to the candidate’s election website.
The email blast will be coming from nes-pacifica.org@shared1.ccsend.com
Postcards with candidate information may be contracted and paid for by a candidate or a group. The candidate will select a designated representative who will work with only the vendors the NES has vetted. The cost will include printing and mailing.
All candidates may participate in a 2026 Pacifica Foundation, Inc. pre-recorded election forum. Due to time constraints, candidates will have only 90 seconds to make a statement and answer a question. All questions will come from the Listeners. Dates, times, and more specific information are TBD.
All candidates may submit a 1-minute audio recording to have attached to their profile on the election candidate’s website. Submissions will be received between Friday, August 14 th – Friday, August 21 st. Record your 1-minute audio file and send to NES@Pacifica.org
Candidates may also campaign through their own individual efforts or as part of a slate. They may use personal websites, flyers, mailers, and events. NOTE: Please revisit the Pacifica Foundation’s Fair Campaign Provisions and the disclaimer before any individual efforts.
