The nomination process for all candidates is managed by Election Buddy.
All Pacifica Foundation, Inc. members are sent Listener, Staff, and Volunteer Team Member nomination invitation emails with a link that provides individual access to the nomination form.
Members will be able to write in the names of their chosen nominee or click on the names of those previously nominated for each position. The nomination form will include campaign information about registered candidates as updated.
A candidate cannot nominate themselves, but can nominate other candidates.
The nomination form can only be submitted once.
Nomination Requirements
Pacifica National Board Officer candidates are nominated by listeners and staff members at all five stations.
Each of the following roles requires 100 nominations to qualify:
- National Board Chair
- National Board Vice Chair
- National Board Secretary
- National Board Treasurer
Pacifica National Board Station Representative Candidates for one position from each of the five stations are nominated by Listener Members at their station. Each needs 50 listener member nominations to qualify.
Pacifica National Board Staff Representative Candidates for the two positions are nominated by staff members at all five stations. Each needs 15 staff member nominations to qualify.
Local Station Board Listener Officers Candidates for LSB Chair, LSB Vice Chair, LSB Secretary, LSB Outreach Coordinator, and LSB Membership/Fundraising Coordinator at each of the five stations are nominated by listener members at their station. Each needs 15 listener-member nominations from their station to qualify.
Local Station Board Staff Representative Candidates for two positions at their station are nominated by staff members at their station. Each needs 5 staff member nominations from their station to qualify.
